Ah Mui got sore throat, insisted the Concert in Sydney

阿 梅 有 病 在 身 ， 但 仍 全 情 投 入 演 出 ， 值 得 大 讚	阿 梅 前 晚 出 發 到 澳 洲 演 出 巡 迴 演 唱 會 ， 有 人 在 香 港 機 場 看 見 阿 梅 在 航 空 公 司 櫃 位 處 哭 泣

【 記 者 莫 麗 芬 澳 洲 專 電 】 梅 艷 芳 昨 晚 帶 病 到 澳 洲 雪 梨 舉 行 一 場 巡 迴 演 唱 會 ， 據 知 阿 梅 原 定 大 前 晚 和 一 大 班 工 作 人 員 及 舞 蹈 員 起 程 往 澳 洲 ， 有 傳 因 為 簽 證 問 題 ， 一 大 班 人 要 延 期 一 日 出 發 至 前 晚 起 程 ， 不 過 又 有 人 目 睹 阿 梅 在 機 場 航 空 公 司 的 櫃 位 哭 泣 ， 未 知 是 否 阿 梅 的 簽 證 出 問 題 ， 還 是 阿 梅 身 體 不 適 ， 才 忍 不 住 當 眾 落 淚 。

The ngiht before (08/09/02), Anita Mui was sick but she still left Hong Kong for her Fantasy Gig Concert in Sydney. It was said that Ah Mui and the crew of working staff and dancers scheduled to leave for Sydney on 8/8, but due to the visa problem, they had to delay till the next day.  But someone saw Ah Mui crying at the check-in counter at the airport, was it because of the visa problem, or she felt sick?

昨 晚 記 者 到 阿 梅 舉 行 演 唱 會 的 場 地 奧 運 室 內 體 育 館 了 解 情 況 ， 據 主 辦 單 位 透 露 ， 曾 經 作 出 最 壞 打 算 ， 將 演 唱 會 延 期 至 九 月 ， 不 過 阿 梅 好 專 業 ， 她 不 想 歌 迷 同 主 辦 機 構 失 望 ， 所 以 都 頂 硬 上 ， 因 為 阿 梅 遲 一 日 到 ， 加 上 阿 梅 只 會 留 在 澳 洲 二 十 四 小 時 ， 她 休 息 一 陣 又 要 趕 住 去 綵 排 ， 十 分 辛 苦 。 阿 梅 所 演 出 的 場 地 可 以 容 納 歌 迷 達 兩 萬 人 ， 全 場 爆 滿 ， 一 向 在 台 上 搏 到 盡 的 阿 梅 ， 就 選 用 較 早 前 在 香 港 演 唱 會 過 的 性 感 舞 衣 ， 當 阿 梅 穿 住 胸 前 大 開 的 性 感 衫 大 唱 快 歌 《 冰 山 大 火 》 ， 在 場 的 歌 迷 立 即 嘩 大 叫 ： 「 好 性 感 呀 ， 梅 姐 好 。 」 阿 梅 的 聲 音 有 點 沙 啞 ， 不 過 依 然 見 阿 梅 努 力 的 同 歌 迷 揮 手 及 打 招 呼 ， 在 台 上 盡 顯 其 專 業 的 一 面 ， 而 阿 梅 表 演 完 畢 後 就 返 香 港 。

Last night, the reporter went to Superdome Arena, Homebush Bay, Sydney,  trying to find more information about the whole thing.  The organizer was preparing for the worse, and ready to postpone the concert to September, but Ah Mui was so professional, she didn't want to disappoint her fans and organizer, she insisted that the concert should be on the day as scheduled.  As Ah Mui arrived Australia one day later than scheduled, and she would stay in Australia only for 24 hours,  so upon arrival,  after a very short rest she rushed to rehearsal despite being very tired after the long flight.  

The section opened for the concert could take 20,000 audience, and it was full house.  As ususal,  Ah Mui immersed her whole self in the performance during the concert .  Last night, she put on all those sexy costumes that she had worn during Hong Kong concert.  When she was singing [Ice Mountain Burning Fire] with sexy movements in that White Low V pantsuit, all fans screamed loudly: [Ah Mui, you are so sexy, you are fabulous!]  Her voice was a bit coarse, but she still greeted her fans warmly.  That is her professionalism.  She would return Hong Kong soon after the show.

上 台 就 生 晒
據 阿 梅 演 唱 會 主 辦 機 構 負 責 人 陳 淑 芬 透 露 ： 「 阿 梅 係 喉 嚨 發 炎 、 嚴 重 感 冒 ， 阿 梅 今 早 （ 昨 早 ） 到 澳 洲 就 立 即 返 酒 店 搵 醫 生 打 針 ， 阿 梅 為 保 護 把 聲 ， 佢 都 盡 量 少 講 說 話 。 （ 有 人 見 到 阿 梅 機 場 櫃 位 喊 喎 ？ ） 冇 咁 事 。 （ 咁 阿 梅 簽 證 係 咪 有 問 題 呀 ？ ） 簽 證 梗 係 冇 問 題 啦 ， 如 果 唔 係 都 上 唔 到 機 ， 唔 到 呢 度 啦 。 」

According to Chan Shauk Fung: [Ah Mui has sore throat, having a serious flu.  After she arrived at Sydney that morning, she had injection at her hotel right away.  For protecting her voice, she tried not to talk. (she was seen weeping at check-in counter at the airport?) No such thing. (Is true that she had visa problem?) Of course no problem, otherwise she would not be here.]

在 兩 個 半 小 時 的 演 唱 會 中 ， 阿 梅 若 無 其 事 ， 愈 唱 愈 勇 ， 完 全 不 顧 自 己 患 病 。 十 幾 套 靚 衫 配 襯 她 的 勁 歌 熱 舞 ， 令 到 觀 眾 如 癡 如 醉 ， 陳 淑 芬 十 分 滿 意 ， 大 讚 阿 梅 的 表 現 ： 「 佢 一 上 台 就 生 晒 ， 乜 病 都 唔 記 得 。 」 演 唱 會 經 過 兩 次 安 哥 圓 滿 結 束 。

For the 2-1/2 hours during the concert, it seemed nothing had happened, she didn't look like sick.  The more she sang, the better she became.  All audience was impressed and fascinated by her singing, hot dances plus more than 10 pieces of beautiful costumes.  Chan Shauk Fung was extremely satisfied with her performance and said: [When she got onto the stage, she became alive and forgot all about her own sickness.]  There were 2 encores before the concert finished.
