Anita Mui was in love with famous Japanese Singer

Antia Mui is sentimental and passionate.  She has had many romances in her life.  Every romance brought her happiness and passionate love, but all lasted only for a short period, and left her in pain.

In May 1988, Mui Je told me about her romance with a Japanese famous singer, that happened in 1985.  He was of her own age, and besides her he had another girl friend . Everybody knew that he was Matchy, and Mui Je never denied about that.  In memory of that romance with this foreigner, she still had many fond memories.

[I first met him during a cocktail party.  The year after that he held his concert in Hong Kong.  I went to his show, and after that I met him again at the cocktail party.  When I got introduced to him, he said: [We already met.... last year.]  Surprisingly that he still remembered  me.

[After cocktail, we went in a group to disco.  For the whole night, he almost danced just with me and when we were dancing, he asked me: [Can I kiss you ?] I nodded, and that kiss started our love.  During super, he took off his tie pin and presented to me as a gift.  I was impressed.

[Next day, he asked me to go shopping with him.  Even though I was very busy, I went with him.  He arrived at our meeting place earlier, and he bought me a diamond brooch .  Even till today, I treasure this brooch so much that I seldom use it and I keep it locked in my safe.  Then at the Cartier's, each of us bought a small picture frame of marble, and presented to each other.

[On the second day, he had a photographic section in Macau.  he asked me to go with him again.  I felt restless for the whole night.  Finally I decided to go with him.  I was wearing a jade bracelet for many years, but just before I left for Macau it was broken.  I took it as a bad omen.]

When he left Hong Kong, it was not convenient for her to see him off at the airport.  But he called her before he took off.  She thought once he left Hong Kong, he would never remember her again, but he called her that night.  [I was touched.  After that he called me every night, and we talked about an hour each night.]  They communicated both in English and Japanese.

[Then I went to Japanese to see him.  Though we only parted for less than 2 weeks, it seemed that we haven't seen each other for ages, we missed each other desperately.  I stayed in Japan for a week.  When I was leaving for Hong Kong, he cried and asked me why I had to leave.  I told him I had to work, and I stayed with him for the whole night.

[After I came back, we still kept on calling each other at night.  For just less than one month, I felt restless and had to fly to see him again.  When I saw him, I told him that I would only stay for one day because he was too busy and had no time for me.  His eyes immediately turned red with tears and trying hard to hold them back.  Then I told him I was only joking.  When I left Japan that time, he blamed himself that if he was not in entertainment industry, he could travel with me everywhere.  We were so much in love, but we had to go on secretly, both of us were in great pain.

[Later when he went to Hokkaido for concert, I accompanied him there.  After we landed, he was extremely tired that he leaned on me when we were in the tour bus.  He said: [I have never had such a wonderful feeling before.]  That was the most memorable day since we had been dating because he openly took me as his girl friend, made our romance known to the working crew, the band and his friends. I was delighted about this.]

Did he has another girl friend? [He said he was no longer with that girl, that is why I went with him.  But after a few months, I fond that they were still seeing each other, but when I asked him about it, he kept on denying.  He took me to see his mother.  I was very nervous on the way.  As he was introducing me to his parent, that meant he took me as his girl friend.]

Their relation went on for about a year, during which Mui Je went to Japan for 7 times just to see him.  But he didn't even come to see her once.  Mui Je was very considerate and said: [He was busier than I, and he had less freedom, had to report to his manager everyday.  Every time when I went to see him, I gave him hard time.  We had fun hanging at night spots till dawn, then he called his manager to pick him up and go directly for work.] Also Mui Je had never met his girl friend.

It was a pity that they had problem soon, and they could not keep their relation going on in this way.  [We were really too busy at that time.  we could only talk to each other once or twice per week.  I felt that I was under great pressure, also I knew he had a girl friend, I felt unsecured.]

So their romance ended? [No, we had it...........] Mui Je paused suddenly, and then said: [I don't like to mention it, because I really don't like to think about such an ending, I only like to think about how we loved each other.  I want to have a happy memory.  We haven't been in touch ever since.  Love is over.]
